This weekend I had the honor of partnering with Dennis Chan, chef/owner of Blue Bamboo Restaurant for the IVCJ's Chocolates of the World event, held at the Marriot Sawgrass. It is a great organization that promotes the meeting of people from all over the world! Thank you for helping out Lucy, too!
Dennis and I created over 250 servings of our dessert: Trio of Cakes! The cake was a chocolate cake with three different styles of buttercream, Asian-inspired: Cherry Blossom, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, and Passion Fruit.
Congrats go out to Mai Oui Gourmet for winning! I'll be back next year to give them run for their money, for sure!
